"My father passed away in 2022 at the age of almost 92. He was quite the dynamic character, and in all honesty not terribly religious. Planning a Celebration of Life that would suit his personality while honoring his memory and bring solace to family and friends became a priority. The Rev. Annie Fritschner met with me to help plan what would become the perfect send off for my father. She was personally comforting to me, wanted to hear about the person my father was, and she made suggestions for sayings, poems and prayers that I might consider. It was a meeting of hearts and collaboration, and her thoughts and planning skills created a sense of ease and clarity for me at a time when I needed it most. Annie kept me on track for what needed to be done prior to our service, and the day of the service I realized a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. She had helped me plan a service that my father would have approved of, even enjoyed (!) and at the same time she offered prayers which brought everyone in attendance spiritual comfort. It couldn’t have been more perfect."

"Annie coordinated and led a moving memorial service for our deceased classmates at our 45th college class reunion. It was poignant, engaged everyone whether they knew the deceased or not, and added an immensely important moment in our reunion activities. We continue to speak of it with appreciation and affection."

"For me, it has been a really unique part of our reunion experiences over the years, that we've stopped to commemorate those who walked the campus with us. We had already lost classmates by the five-year reunion, and two years ago, the list was sadly long. But I was grateful to be able to remember my classmates in the presence of classmates. It was a very moving gathering."

"Rev. Annie Fritschner took the time to find out who my mom was and honored her for a life well lived. My mom was a spiritual person and Rev. Annie focused on mom's accomplishments and related those to general religious ideas. I felt safe knowing that Rev. Annie was overseeing this special day and she did so with love, compassion and humor. She made a very hard day easier and I am grateful for her."
